Research

Experienced in collaborating on a research project from start to finish, in qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis, with a trauma-informed focus on health equity, social and cultural determinants of health and protective factors. 

Research is typically used to inform the development of policy and programs, to strengthen program fundraising efforts, and to build liberatorary paradigm shifts in knowledge.

Takes an approach which always supports Indigenous rights to self-determination, responsive and adaptive to changing research processes which are respectful of clients and community priorities and knowledge.

Multi-sectorial policy analysis and strategy 

Fearless critical analysis of local, national and international policy across related sectors, sustainable policy recommendations and action plans for moving forward. 

Focusing on suicide prevention, Indigenous health equity, sustainable communities and ecological governance, gender-based violence and children and women’s rights.

Editing

Extensive experience in editing and shaping a diverse range of texts from newspaper articles, opinion pieces, NGO reports, academic material, submissions to parliamentary enquires, conference posters, video pre-production to post-production.
